Box of Rain: Box of Rain is a program formed to honor the memory of Lee Griffin. Lee's life and passion for sailing and his community will be celebrated in a program designed to teach life building skills through maritime experiences for local youth-at-risk, targeting kids 9-14 years old. The program launched in May 2003. Box of Rain is a year-round program designed to inspire and encourage Annapolis area youth, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to gain self-esteem and to develop life skills that lead to positive contributions to the community. Beginning the Fall 2010 the program will expand to encompass bike repair targeting youth up to the age of 18.
